About TRIUMPH, LLC

TRIUMPH, LLC was established in 1999 in Durham, North Carolina. Our goal was and is to create services that address the previously unmet needs of the community for quality, community-based treatment services. Our first program was the creation of a unique day treatment program. This program was designed using the principles of Adventure-Based Counseling, designed to serve those children who have been identified as having significant behavioral difficulties and who have been pushed out of traditional school, summer, and after-school programming. Adventure-Based Counseling (ABC) takes its roots from Outward Bound and Project Adventure, two nationally recognized programs that have proven effective in improving self-concept, improving healthy decision-making skills, and in some studies reduced recidivism for youthful offenders.
Through the evaluation of the Day Treatment Program and an ongoing collaboration with the Durham County MH/DD/SAS Area Program, Triumph has expanded its services into a full spectrum of community-based care. We now offer Day Treatment, Community-Based Services (Professional and Paraprofessional), Case Management, Outpatient Therapy, and Psychiatric care. Triumph provides these services in several counties within North Carolina.
The goal of all TRIUMPH, LLC services is to empower the families with which we work. We strive to help children and families develop effective coping strategies and to draw on both their previously untapped or under-used personal and familial strengths. All services are provided in a fashion that displays respect for personal choice and self-determination.
TRIUMPH, LLC engages in ongoing, quality assurance activities to ensure that we are providing care that meets the best standards of practice in our field. This means continuous review of the treatment interventions we employ, ongoing review of treatment-related documentation, and routine review of the skill level and training needs of both direct care and supervisory staff. Our commitment has been--and will continue to be--to provide the most professional care to our consumers and maintain strong relationships and communication with other treatment partners in order to effect the greatest amount of positive change.
